Checklist of all abstracts, presenters and presentation methods:
Click here to see the list of abstracts and their presenters and presentation method. Note that those who give a short oral presentation are also expected to present a poster (on a poster board) and as an ePoster.
Communications with abstract submitters and problems with mail not arriving (going to spam)
The notifications about the final presentation methods were emailed to all abstract presenters between 6-9 May. If you did not receive yours, please contact us immediately (after checking your junk/spambox). The mails concerning the ePoster system are from ‘Learning Toolbox’. If you experience problems with mail not arriving, you may wish to send us an alternative mail address with less strict filters (e.g gmail or yahoo).
Instructions for ePoster presenters (in-person presenters and virtual presenters)
A. E-Posters (information for all abstract presenters: in-person and virtual presenters)
B. Printed poster for poster board presentation (information for all in-person abstract presenters, including those who have a short oral presentation in a Workshop, Symposium or Flash Talk)
C. Short Oral poster presentations. Information for those who, in addition to the ePoster and Poster board presentation, were also invited to give a short oral presentation in a Flash Talk, Workshop or Symposium.
A. E-Posters
All (!) abstract presenters are required to make an Eposter. We use the “Learning Toolbox’ platform. An ePoster here is also called a ‘stack’: it is your personal digital showcase where you do not only post your poster, but where you may present a collection of material that could include a presentation, video, weblinks and more). The showcase will be publicly accessible for 1 year. You can copy your own QR code or ePoster link from the system and share it with others to promote your presentation.
The e-Poster invites were sent by email to all abstract presenters in the first week of May. They received an e-mail invite with a link to the “Learning Toolbox‘ platform with a unique code for their own abstract (only), where they can create an account and create an ePoster ( ‘stack’). If you did not receive this mail, please first check your spam/junk folders, and if it is not there, please contact the support desk at ECNP2025@euro-cns.org.
How does the ePoster system (‘Learning Toolbox’) work?
Before you start, please browse through the ePoster support/ Questions and Answers page to get a general impression of the system.
Once you have created a Learning Toolbox (ePoster) account, you can always access the ‘getting started’ manual, and the Q&A links that are accessible via your account.
B. Printed poster for poster board presentation (information for all in-person abstract presenters, including those who have a short oral presentation in a Workshop, Symposium or Flash Talk)
Poster board orientation: ‘portrait’
Dimensions for your poster: A0: (width: 84.1cm / 33.1 in; height: 118.9cm / 46.8 in)
Mounting your poster: Pins to mount the posters will be provided on site.
Posters can be mounted on 11 June, and should be up on 12 and 13 June. They should be removed on 14 June.
Guidelines for making your poster. We have no written instructions or requirements for making your poster, but recommend taking a look here for basic poster guidelines: https://guides.nyu.edu/posters
C. Short Oral abstract presentation. Information for those who, in addition to the ePoster and Poster board presentation, were also invited to give a short oral presentation in a Flash Talk, Workshop or Symposium. If you need tips about how to prepare for an oral poster presentation, click here.
How to give your oral poster presentation at the congress (Workshop, Symposium, Flash Talk Session):
1. present from a powerpoint presentation: If you plan to present a powerpoint, please bring your PPT on a USB memory stick/device and upload it to the computer in the Hall where there presentation is scheduled. This should occur well before the start of the session and testing (very brief)/uploading can be done before the start of the first session of the day, or during the breaks. Please take into account that it may be quite busy at the computer in the 30 minutes before a session starts, especially by the invited speakers of a Workshop/Symposium. The sooner you upload your presentation to the computer, the better. There will be support staff on site to help with this.
2. Present directly from your ePoster; Authors need not present from a powerpoint persé. They can also present directly from their ePoster online. Read the following link to see how. It is easy, but DO practise beforehand: https://support.ltb.io/ufaqs/how-do-i-present-my-eposter-general-advice/
The laptop in the Lecture Hall has the browser with the ePoster platform open. Just select your ePoster and start presenting it, like you practised beforehand.
LATE-BREAKING ABSTRACT SUBMISSION WAS CLOSED (on 1 June 2025)
The work and/or update must be novel, ground-breaking, of high significance, evidence-based and with scientific merit. The abstract must present timely findings which were not available at the time of the regular abstract submission deadline (Sunday 9 February 2025). The late-breaking abstract deadline is not intended to be a second deadline for abstract submissions. A limited number of late-breaking abstracts will be accepted.
Late Breaking Abstracts can be submitted until 1 June 2025. We cannot guarantee oral presentation time. Submit your late breaking abstract here. Submitters of late breaking abstracts are generally notified within 1 week following submission. At this point it is not likely (but not excluded) that late breaking abstracts can still be accepted for oral presentation, as all timeslots for oral presentations are full.

ABSTRACT PRESENTATION METHODS:
1. Oral abstract presentations
Authors from selected abstracts who attend in-person are invited to present their work (live) in several symposia, workshops or in the free communication sessions.
2. Poster board presentations
All authors from accepted abstracts will be asked to bring a printed poster and mount this to a poster board. Poster viewing will occur during the coffee and lunch breaks. Poster presenters will be asked to be available at their poster board for questions as much as possible.
3. ePoster platform
In-person and virtual attendants will be required to upload their ePoster to our ePoster Showcase, named the Learning Toolbox. ePoster viewing on this special platform will open shortly before the congress, and can be accessed at all time during the event. Our ePoster showcase will allow you to add audio and video to your presentation. You can see a few examples of this in the Showcase. Here you can see two ePosters of the previous European Congress of Neuropathology (virtual, 2021), where the authors made good use of several media: https://api.ltb.io/show/BQZXJ and https://api.ltb.io/show/ABASK
There will be no moderated (e-)poster sessions for virtual participants.
HOW TO SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT (REGULAR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION IS CLOSED)

For a case report abstract, include 1) Introduction or background, 2) Clinical case and 3) Conclusion(s)
Review and Notification
The Program Committee members will review the abstracts and make the selection for poster and oral presentations. First you will receive the notification about abstract acceptance. The notification about the definitive method of presentation will follow a bit later, before the early bird registration deadline. Abstracts of unregistered (unpaid) authors cannot be presented at the abstract and will not be included in our Abstract Book (an issue of the Euro-CNS Journal Clinical Neuropathology).
Publication of abstracts
The accepted abstracts of registered presenters will be published in an online supplement issue of the Euro-CNS journal “Clinical Neuropathology“. This issue will be published as a free open access article. A DOI (Digital Object Identifier) will be assigned to it in order to facilitate access to the URL, where the complete issue can be downloaded.
About Late Breaking abstracts: Late breaking abstracts submitted after 28 April may not be published in the Abstract Book, but will be included in our online version of the Abstract Book, and also have opportunity for ePoster presentation and Poster board presentation. The option for oral presentations will become more limited as the program is finalized.
