1. Your scheduled presentation time
The time of your presentation is indicated in the scientific program and includes time for Questions and Answers or discussion. As a guideline, allocate 75% of your time for your presentation and 25% for the Q&A session. There are a few sessions with a different set-up, for example where the Q&A is saved until the end of the session. Please follow the guidelines of your theme and session chairs as communicated to you earlier. In case of uncertainty, please check with your session chairs.
2. Your powerpoint presentation
– On your first slide, include a disclosure statement.
– We do not have a pre-defined slide format. You are welcome to use our ECNP2025 logo in your PPT. You can download it below:
-Do not send us your ppt via mail. Please bring your PPT on USB memory stick and upload it to the laptop in the Hall where you will have your presentation. There is technical support on-site. Please upload your ppt timely. This could be (well) before the start of the first session of the day, or during one of the breaks.
– The laptops have the newest Windows operating systems. If you have a Keynote (Apple) presentation, please convert to a format suitable for presenting on a Windows laptop and test it in advance and on site.
-The screens in the lecture halls have an aspect ratio of 16:9.
3. Q&A for your talk/session, polls, quizzes (see flyer at the bottom of this page)
At the congress we will be making use of ‘Slido’ for the Questions and Answers parts after the talks, as well as for any polls or quizzes. Virtual participants will see the Slido screen in the live stream and can send questions via the chat to the session chairs. On-site participants can open Slido via a QR code that is shown in various places at the venue. They can also just raise their hand after the talk and ask their question(s) ‘in-person’. Please read the the flyer at the bottom of this page.
If you require polls/quizzes in your presentation, please send to the secretariat before the start of the congress: secretariat@euro-cns.com. If this is not feasible for you, please bring your poll/quiz on a USB memory stick to the First Sight Media Technician in your Lecture Hall as soon as you arrive. You can do this during a coffee or lunch break. The media team may not have sufficient time if there are many last minute poll/quiz upload requests at the same time.
